Today I am thankful for.

1.  Friends that will call me out when I am wrong or mess up (thanks Monica)

2.  Being able to laugh at myself in a fun and positive way.

3.  Knowing that it is o.k. to do what is right for me.

That is all for today Ms. Barb.  Another good quote

RNY on 07/19/07 with

xoxoxo!  You are welcome!!!

After going through this whole plastic surgery process, I am really truly thankful for good health.

I had a resting heart rate of 58 bpm the morning of surgery. My blood pressure is slightly below normal. I don't suffer from gastric reflux anymore.

I had NINE POUNDS of skin removed from my belly. I can move, bend, walk, run, climb stairs, dance, move!

I recovered remarkably well from surgery at a very fast pace. I'm grateful to be strong, healthy, young and in good shape to have gone through this surgery.

Oh, and once again I'm thankful for coffee.

Good Morning Barb,
Today I am thankful

for my ability to help others, by participating in the 5k walks. I have the ability, and there are others in greater need.

for the choices that I have in my life. I have to deal with the aftermath, whether it is positive or negative.

that I try to encourage others, rather than criticize. I may not understand, but I still try to be a positive person.

for the friendships that I have and have had in my life. I am a better person because of each and every one of them.

hugs, love, & friendship,

Michelle T.

Morning Barb...love the quote..reminds me of one that says you can get more with honey than with salt LOL

Today I am Thankful for:

Getting our house back....to ourselves. Granddaughter moved out Tuesday and it is sooooo nice!

Being disciplined enough that I can visit a store and not HAVE to buy something.  The new Sam's Club is nice...but I don't have to buy just because I went to check it out LOL

The cooler weather...even if it does mean I am actually wearing long sleeve tops and socks with my shoes.  And it's only October! ^_^ Last year I was still in shorts and sandels LOL

Life is Grand..Celebrate every day!

I am so thankful for my loving, supportive family and friends. That is the biggie.

I am thankful for thirty five pounds lost in one month and my DS surgery and a prospect of a healthy future.

I am thankful that my daughter, away on the east coast in her first year of college, has finally decided that she can share with me what's happening in her life again. I really miss her but she needed some independent time.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Friends who love me no matter what I look like or how screwed up I am, physically.

2.  Dougie, who is sick, but he still takes care of me.  It drives me nuts not to be able to care for him.

3.  Cooler weather

Hope you and Ron are well.  Love 2 u both, Diane

Love the quote.. and its important to be kind to yourself too... oftentimes I'm my own toughest critic rather than focusing on the positive.. but I'm working on this!

Today I am thankful for the time off work this afternoon to have a Mammogram and visit my NUT!

I am thankful for my family who are so wonderful and supportive.

I am thankful that I not only have a job, but one that engages and challenges me and affords me a great sense of accomplishment.

I am thankful for my RnY and am still amazed at the medical team and their support and encouragement and the results I am experiencing from learning how to use my new tool!

I am thankful for my faith in God and the stable foundation it provides in my life.

Love and Hugs!
